Dive into the innovative journey of creating a unified, digital-first experience for Capital Group's diverse fund range. Faced with the intricate challenge of designing a point-of-sale (POS) website that transcends language barriers, our mission was to craft an engaging platform that communicates the unique value of each fund, making investment opportunities clear and accessible to advisors and potential investors worldwide.

The Process and Outcome

  • The core challenge was multifaceted: developing a POS page that not only spans multiple languages but also aligns with both print and digital brochures, effectively conveying the asset's value and the benefits of investing. Additionally, the project aimed to create an engaging digital experience for the New Perspective Fund, alongside a versatile component library for brand cohesion across various funds.

  • Our approach began with an exhaustive exploration of the investment landscape, user needs, and digital best practices across languages and cultures. This foundational research informed our strategy for a standardised digital platform that could adapt to diverse fund data and investor inquiries.

  • Armed with insights, we embarked on the creative phase, focusing on clarity, engagement, and information. The development of a component library emerged as a pivotal solution, offering customisable elements that ensure consistency and adaptability across the fund range.

  • The culmination of our efforts was a streamlined, multilingual POS website, complemented by digital and print brochures that mirror the online experience. Introductory videos for each fund highlight their benefits, while a clear, navigable page structure enhances user engagement. Key calls-to-action, like visiting the Fund Centre and downloading the Fund Factsheet, are strategically placed to guide user interaction.

  • This comprehensive digital platform not only meets but exceeds the project's goals, offering a seamless, informative experience that resonates with a global audience. The standardised component library and consistent branding across languages and formats underscore the value proposition of Capital Group's funds, facilitating a deeper understanding and engagement among advisors and investors.
